The impact: How can life coaching help
People sometimes think that a coach is somebody who is typically hired for companies to help their top management to become even more effective and more successful in their jobs. As much as this is certainly a possibility, the scope of a life coach may be broader than this. Experience shows that life coaching has the greatest effect in a professional and private context. This is because there is often no possibility to reflect on one's own uncertainties, questions about the future and important personal decisions with a neutral communication partner.
Throughout my career in HR I would experience on daily basis that as much as people attempted to behave professionally, their private life would sometimes "stand in their way". On the other hand, their careers have often taken a toll on their personal lives. Of course, because as much as we try to separate our work and private matters, in the end everything in our life is connected.
My experience tells me the best approach is to embrace and celebrate people as powerful human beings who are able to reach everything and anything they want in all areas of their lives. Without ending up exhausted or burnt out.
Life Coaching, as I use it, aims at approaching all life areas and helps to get them sync. This does not mean that you will never ever get sad or frustrated over something in your work or personal life again. A good life coach can quide you through various life situations helping you to gain trust in yourself and your powers, using various tools that can help you to experience more ease, build self-esteem and general trust in yourself and your life journey.
